Join us for our drop-in, open level Mexican Folk Dance classes, created for dancers with all kinds of backgrounds and experience.Each class welcomes beginners, intermediate dancers, and advanced dancers. The material is adjusted in real time so everyone can learn, grow, and feel included.

Important note:
These classes are open level and can move at a fast pace. Because of this, we recommend having at least a little previous dance experience.

There is no set sequence, so you can join whenever it works for you.
However, attending multiple classes will help you grow, become more confident, and improve your level over time.

Each one-hour class includes:

• Warm-up and physical conditioning
• Technique work
• Repertory from a variety of Mexican folk styles and regional dances

Every class offers something new, so each session is a complete experience on its own.

Additional helpful notes:

• Please arrive 10 minutes early to warm up and check in
• Folklorico shoes are required for all classes
• Some classes may require a rehearsal skirt (falda de práctica)
• If you do not have a skirt yet, you may still participate in technique portions, but skirt sections may be limited

• Cost: $15 per class
• Duration: 1 hour
• Frequency: Twice a month
• Availability: New openings are released a couple of weeks before each class

Discount:
If you reserve your spot for both classes in the same month, you will receive a $5 discount on the total.

Spots are first come, first served.

3. Once payment is received, your spot is confirmed

⚠️ Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve early.

• There are no refunds if you are unable to attend a class
• If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, we will open your spot to someone else and you will receive a credit for the next available class
• In the case of a reasonable emergency, a credit may also be offered. This will be decided at the teacher’s discretion
• If we ever need to cancel a class, you will be notified and receive a credit that can be applied to the next available session
• Credits should be used within a reasonable timeframe (for example, within the next 2–3 class dates)

These guidelines help everyone have a positive and respectful experience:

• Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated
• Respect the studio space and take care of all equipment
• Guests must stay in the waiting area during the class
• No street shoes are allowed inside the dance studio
• You may use the lockers and waiting area to store your belongings
• The studio is not responsible for forgotten items, so please check and take everything with you before leaving
• Be supportive of dancers of all levels
• Let the teacher know about any injuries or limitations before class begins
• Listen to your body and take breaks when needed
• New students will need to sign a waiver form before participating in their first class
• And most important of all: have fun and enjoy the dancing!

Classes are typically held on Tuesdays. Any schedule changes will be communicated through our official social media channels and by email.
